Summer is upon us, and prices in the energy markets have remained subdued, with both natural gas and electricity prices settling back to stable positions. This comes in sharp contrast to a year ago when energy prices were at multiyear peaks and market volatility was through the roof. The effects of last year’s heightened volatility are still being seen in many ways.

![]() The Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce was honored with two awards from the United Way of Greater Toledo this week. Kenzi Moore, United Way Development Officer (right), presented Wendy Gramza, TRCC President and CEO (left), with the CEO Hall of Fame award which recognizes organizations where the CEO serves as a model for corporate and employee philanthropy and is a visible United Way advocate. The Chamber also received the Year Round Engagement award given to true champions for improving lives in our community, instilling a year-round workplace engagement plan with the United Way in respect to communication, education, involvement, and volunteerism which includes employee(s) serving in a leadership position for a United Way committee, participation in engagement activities and participation in volunteer activities. Thank you United Way of Greater Toledo for the recognition and for all you do to support those in our community. The Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce is proud to be part of helping create greater impact for the lives of our neighbors in the region.
